Our core service is providing SIRE inspectors for inspections and audits. We also offer training for clients whom requires in depth detail of Sire Inspection regime.

Who Are We?

Ship Vet Sdn Bhd was established by Captain Aathithan Tangavelu following a successful 23 years at sea with 7 years as Master of which 17 years spent working for Maersk Tankers from the rank of 2nd Officer to Master. After coming ashore he joined BP Shipping as Core Ship Inspector in the vetting department.

The job description in BP Shipping included SIRE inspections, screening SIRE reports, TMSA audits, carrying out Risk Assessment for BP on STS locations, etc.Our consultants are well experienced ex Masters/Chief Engineers whom are vetted to ensure they conform to the high standards required in this industry.

Services

We provide the following services;
  • Sire Inspections - Core business revolves around Sire Inspection service as we provide quality inspectors located at strategic locations.
  • Terminal Audits mainly LNG terminals.
  • Consultant for development of 5 LNG terminals in Port Qasim, Pakistan.
  • Ship audits on behalf of P&I club.
  • TMSA audits - conduct gap analysis of Safety
